10. They were to busy admiring Mani Ramirez’s hair.
9. They wanted to devote more time to get KISS in to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
8. The death threats from Ben & Casey Affleck were to un-nerving.
7. They wanted to show Drew Carey that it’s OK to have little success & then suck.
6. They would rather audition for “Major League 4 Ass Kicked by Boston” than play in another game.
5. Rest of the team secretly hates Lofton & rather not see him win a ring.
4. Lebron James begged them that he be the one that brings a championship to the city first.
3. They wanted to see if the threats by their manager of not shaving until they won were true.
2. The Boston Red Sox mascot “Wally the Green Monster” was really, really scary.
1. Isn’t it obvious? God hates Cleveland sports.

yes indeed… god hates us. but we live and die with the tribe so there’s no regrets (as long as joel skinner is fired before noon today, cc sabathia & fausto carmona realize that post season games actually COUNT, tim mccarver actually gets his facts straight and kevin milar realizes what team he plays for

I’ve been to Cleveland only one time for the NCAA tournament (when Alabama lost to Bruce Pearl oddly enough) and I have to say I’ve never seen a sadder city in my life. Half the people in that town didn’t even want to get up for work they hated living there so much.

I’ll admit Cleveland was at one time a cool city, but there are hard times there now and it’s really a shame. The population is moving to the south. I know the company I work for until 10/31/07 (I’m starting a new job on 11/05 after 10 years at this one) was bought by Medical Mutual of Ohio. So they gave us an idea of life in Cleveland. The company is also based out of Cleveland. MMO sucks also.
