It’s that time again. BCS announcement day. A day where every college football fan can interject their thoughts about who got in, who didn’t & who should be in championship game. Let’s see who gets in and who doesn’t. I’m not picking any winners. Joel & I will do that later this week, with all the bowls.
The Sugar Bowl
Georgia Bulldogs Vs. Hawaii.
OK, Dawg fans I know you’re upset that you didn’t get in. One argument is Georgia beat Kentucky who in turn beat LSU, so Georgia should be in. On the flip-side is LSU beat South Carolina & Tennessee who both beat Georgia. The deciding factor that everyone is forgetting about is the blow out win LSU had over Virginia Tech, who by the way is a BCS bowl team. If I had my way, Georgia would face LSU for the title.
Orange Bowl
Virginia Tech vs Kansas.
OK Missouri fans I’ll admit you got robbed of a BCS birth. The only lose Kansas suffered this year is at the hands of Missouri. If I had my way it would be Oklahoma playing Kansas.
Fiesta Bowl
Oklahoma vs West Virginia.
Oklahoma will be looking to redeem themselves this year while West Virginia will looking to give White & Slaton some sort of an excuse to stay one more year. Honestly I don’t believe the Big East should even get an automatic bowl bid. They only have eight football teams. My choice would be putting Arizona State in there instead.
Rose Bowl
Illinois vs USC
Honestly I believe Michigan should have gotten the nod and I like the fighting Zookers. This might be the best game. USC is playing awfully well and so is Illinois. Again I would put Michigan in there, but I’ll admit I would have rather seen Zook face Florida also.
National Championship
Ohio State vs LSU
The Big Eleven Ten really needs to add another team so they can have a championship game. This LSU gets to be the ninth SEC team to smack OSU in the face with 9 inches of limp. Oh wait, sorry I’m kinda picking aren’t I? OSU back doored themselves into this game. One thing that makes this game interesting is the fact Les “Big Hat Small Penis” Miles turned Michigan down. So when if LSU beats OSU, Michigan fans will really learn to hate Les Miles, because Michigan can’t seem to do that recently.
So I profess on this day 12/03/07

What a season it’s been. My greatest wish would be for not to end. This is the final edition of my revelations for the year 2007.
Hawaii remains unbeaten. Who cares.
The ACC championship game couldn’t even sell out. Sorry.
Missouri you and West Virginia should play each other in the “Biggest Overrated Jokes of College Football” bowl.
Rich Rodriguez you were crying at the press conference after the game. THERE’S NO CRYING IN FOOTBALL!! Unless it involves a death. You’re the shining example of what most everyone thinks of your conference: Weak & Pathetic.
Also while I’m still on West Virginia I noticed every time Pitt had the ball and was in the huddle the PA guy played Metallica, Guns & Roses & Manson. Jesus that’s sad, update your CD collection.

Goth chicks go to WVU games to hear Marilyn Manson
LSU didn’t really beat Tennessee, Erik Ainge did.
I’m beginning the hate that Dr. Pepper commercial of the fat football player.
USC still owns the PAC 10
The Big Least officiating makes the SEC officiating look good. Or West Virginia didn’t pay the refs enough.
Les Miles is a sound byte machine.
Kentucky basketball really, really sucks
How the crutches Wannstedt was on survived the night is beyond me.
Anyone else notice that the mics were a little to close on the Pitt bench? I clearly heard what Wannstedt said to the ref after the 2 fathom holding penalties.
Best image of the night is….

Like Joel said “Thank God of Pitt”
So I profess on this day 12/02/07

West Virginia University is a fine institution of higher learning. They have a lot going for them, like a fine aeronautics program, good engineering school, and have unwavering support from its fan base. However, a National Championship in football is still the one thing that will put the school on the national landscape.
Well, I am so very, very sad to report that 2007 will not be the year that they get that elusive title, thanks to a 13-9 loss TO AN UNRANKED 4-7 (WAIT, NOW 5-7) DAVE WANNSTEDT COACHED PITT TEAM AT HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry folks, it’s just that message boards and blogs have been filled with Mountaineer rhetoric for a while now, and I am sick of it. I’m sick of hearing how everyone should learn the lyrics to “Country Roads”, how there’s special couches set aside for when they win a title, how they were going to take over “Chocolate City” during the BS Championship game. Now that talk is over finally. Who would have thought Dave Wannstedt, who couldn’t coach a woman through a childbirth class, cooked up a scheme to win “The Backyard Brawl”. Now to be fair, West Virginia almost beat themselves with the turnovers, and even the home cooking, phantom holding calls from the refs could not stop mighty Pitt during this game.
All WVU had to do was to beat a 4-7 team, at their home, at night, and they choked. Don’t even get me started on “courageous” Pat White coming back in after dislocating his thumb ON HIS NON-THROWING HAND!!! Hell, Ryan Perilloux for LSU cut his index finger on HIS THROWING HAND and looked like he had a fifth of blood plasma waiting on him after the game, and LSU still managed to beat Tennessee. This is why the Mountaineers are still gonna have a Napoleon complex about them. Bobby Bowden left and years later he won a title, Major F’n Harris gets hurt against Notre Dame in the title game, and a complete choke job against a horrible Pitt team.
In memory of AngryEer and all other sad Mountaineers, instead of burning a couch, I will instead light up a ball of cotton. It’s the least I can do tonight for the little school that could. Also, I will end things by saying “Mountain Momma, Take Them Home”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jesus we suck! We’ll never win a title. But I own a shirt with the word fuck in it so I’m cool.
1. Being known as the couch burning capital of college football.
2. Giving Lou Holtz his only national champion title.
3. Having a degenerate hippie like Steve Tanyhill defeat you to bring South Carolina their first ever bowl victory.
4. Being embarrassed by Maryland by a score of 34-7 only to play them later that same year in the Gator bowl just to embarrass yourself again by losing 41-7.
5. Running off some no name coach by the name of Bobby Bowden. You might have heard of him by now.
6. Knowing that Marshall has 2 national championships while you have none.
7. Taking pride in being the “Kings of Thursday Night Football”
8. Breaming with joy over having the 2nd highest rated game in ESPN History, while other schools rather look to their trophy case instead.
9. Knowing Marshall has produced players like Chad Pennington & Byron Leftwich, while West Virginia has produced players like Major Harris & Chris Henry.
10. After losing the Continental Tire bowl to Virginia in 2002, whine about Notre Dame going to the Gator bowl instead of you.
11. Having a losing bowl record.
12. Pacman Jones.
13. The middle finger of Marcus Vick.
14. Losing a home coming game to Duke.
15. Always being the third or fourth best team in the Big East until Miami and Virginia Tech fled to the ACC, just to have some teams from Conference USA come in, and put you back in to your place…3rd or 4th.
16. Losing to South Florida back to back, a school who 10 years ago wasn’t a D1 program. Thanks Joel.
17. Being ranked #2 in the country, 1 win away from playing for the BCS championship and losing at home to an unranked, 4 & 7 Pitt team.
