There have some rumors flying around that Dwyane Wade and Star Jones have a thing. Sir Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith grilled him on that very subject last on Inside the NBA which airs on TNT. Here’s a transcript:
“We’re friends, just like a lot of celebrities. We are friends,” Wade said
“Are y’all close friends?” Smith asked.
“We’re good friends,” Wade responded.
“Are you the kind of friends that drink out of one cup with two straws? Those kind of friends?”
“We are friends. That’s all,” said Wade
“Good friends?” Barkley interjected.
“Naw, Chuck,” Wade said with a smile.
“I like Star. She’s a cougar.” Barkley said
“What’s a cougar?” Smith asked, not so innocently, a perfect lob to Barkley.
Sir Charles promptly slammed the ball home: “Preying on a young Dwyane Wade.”
Sweet! Perfect set-up pure comedy gold! For the record Wade is married with 2 kids. Jones just filed for divorce.

Jones and soon to be Ex. Look at the arm fat! Look at it!!! I command you!

America’s favorite baseball player turned loser turned snitch author, Jose Canseco seemingly has a lot in common with Latrell Sprewell.
Jose Canseco, the former AL MVP who made millions during his baseball career, has had his home foreclosed. Just like Sprewell.
Canseco told the TV show “Inside Edition” that he walked away from his $2.5 million, 7,300-square foot home in suburban Encino because it didn’t make sense to continue making payments.
I have to agree with him there. I mean it doesn’t make sense paying for food so I shoplift all my groceries every Sunday from Kroger. Don’t ask me how I got a full rack of ribs out two weeks ago…bad memories there.
“I do have a judgment on my home and it to me is very strange because it didn’t make financial sense for me to keep paying a mortgage on a home that was basically owned by someone else,”
“You know my life, this financial thing, is a very complicated issue. Obviously, when you make all that money, people think, ‘OK, let’s assume it is $35 million.’ People have to understand that $35 million, you’re paying the government 41 percent. That leaves you with about $17 or $18 million, not even. Then you’re taking care of your whole family.”
Don’t worry Jose, W is sending $600 your way. That should make things better for you! We should start a
food drive for him. I’ll donate a package of Raman Noodles and and a can of creamed corn.
Gee does that sound familiar? I mean the audacity of expecting to support a family on $17 to $18 million dollars! I feel you bro. (Serious Sarcasm)
I hope one day I can cry about only making 18 million after taxes! Jose better consult with his accountant. If he paid 41% taxes, he should have pocketed $20.6 mil. Not that $2-3 million dollars is much money I mean Joel & I make more than that running this blog here but it could have paid off his mortgage.
When a coke snorting juicer can’t make ends meet, how are the rest of us common folk supposed to get by? Oh, that’s right…by actually working and contributing to society.
