Gee Cubs fans you actually wonder why you’re considered classless?

No not all Cubs are classless morons but the select ones that are take the cake or in this case the water jug.

A tall, semi-attractive female reporter is attempting to do a news report outside Wrigley Field.

However, a Chicago Cubs fan covered entirely in blue paint thought it would be cool to dump a cooler full of water on her. Is that guy the Gargamel/Smurfette love child?

Then again on the south side they just beat the shit out of visitors, so pick your poison.

Of course “cool acts” such as these are always videotaped and uploaded to YouTube by such classless dimwits.

The idiotic ironic of this is the guy yelling, “Welcome to Chicago,” at the end of the video.

I’ve been to Chicago several times; hell I almost took a job with the Rockford police department years ago. Rockford is the second largest city in Illinois and 30 minutes from Chicago for those that didn’t know. Funny nothing like that every happened to me when I was there which is good thing because I would have been arrested for murder.

Further proof that:

  1. Cubs fans are idiots
  2. Cubs will never win the World Series
  3. You can never trust the Orientals (joking :) )

Tragedy Strikes Olympics on Day One

Police take photos at the crime scene where a family member of a U.S. Olympic coach was stabbed to death and another was badly wounded by an assailant.

Police take photos at the crime scene where a family member of a U.S. Olympic coach was stabbed to death and another was badly wounded by an assailant.

A Chinese man killed a relative of a U.S. men’s volleyball coach and injured another family member in a stabbing at a popular tourist spot in Beijing on Saturday.

The victim was a U.S. citizen and the injured victim was an American woman, police said, adding the attacker took that cowards way out & jumped to his death after the killing.

“While at the Drum Tower in central Beijing, the two family members were stabbed during an attack by what local law enforcement authorities have indicated was a lone assailant. One of the family members was killed and the other seriously injured,” the U.S. Olympic Committee said in a statement.

A Chinese tour guide was also injured in the attack carried out by the man just after midday.

According to police Tang Yongming, 47, from the eastern city of Hangzhou, jumped to his death from the second story of tourist site the Drum Tower after the attack.

The exact details of the attack, including the weapon used, were not clear.

“We need further investigation to find out the motive since the man has killed himself. We have no more information to provide for the moment,” a spokesman for the Beijing Public Security Bureau said.

A White House official said President George W. Bush, who is in Beijing for the start of the Games, was aware of the attack.

“The President has been informed and his heart goes out to the families of the victims,” a White House official said.

“The White House and U.S. Embassy have offered whatever assistance the family needs. U.S. officials have also been in touch with Chinese authorities on the matter.”

A U.S. embassy spokeswoman said diplomats had been dispatched to the Beijing hospital where the surviving tourist and the local tour guide had been rushed shortly after noon.

“We’re actively following the situation right now and U.S. Embassy officials are already at the hospital,” a U.S. embassy spokeswoman said.

The U.S. volleyball team is due to play their opening game against Venezuela on Sunday.

Shanghai and Beijing are considered safer than most foreign cities of their size. Punishments for crimes against foreigners are heavier than for crimes against Chinese, and police-linked neighborhood watch groups are highly vigilant. Chinese are not allowed to own guns.

Even so, the U.S. government now warns Americans against muggings, beatings and even carjackings, especially in the nightlife and shopping districts of large cities.

Then again reports of crime in China are censored, so maybe that’s why it’s considered safe there.

International Olympic Committee spokeswoman Emmanuelle Moreau said it was “deeply saddened” by the attack and was working with Chinese authorities to provide whatever assistance it could.

IMHO: China is a totalitarian oligarchy and given that alone should have never considered as a country to host the games much less been awarded the games.
